About Charlotte
Hi, my name is Charlotte. I'm a British University academic and a mum to two children. I absolutely love working with students on a one-to-one basis, supporting them in their studies and finding ways to support and encourage them on their academic journey. I strongly believe that everyone can achieve - we just need to find a way that works for you, as an individual. I have extensive experience of working with students of all ages, both native British speakers and learners. I strongly believe in an inclusive learning environment, where everyone is encouraged to reach their potential. I have a good working knowledge of additional learning needs and am keen to work with learners to adapt and adjust materials according to their needs.

40-minute - 1-hour, one-to-one sessions, online. All sessions are tailored to your needs and level. I have experience of teaching all age groups - from primary, secondary and at University level. I hold a recognised postgraduate teaching qualification and a PhD in English Language and Linguistics. I still work as an academic at a British University so have a detailed understanding of the requirements of academic writing across a broad range of subjects.
