About Rachel
I have 8 years of programming teaching experience with K-12, high school, and college first-year students through online one-to-one live instruction. My Bachelor of Science in Computer Science is from University of Connecticut. I started coding at fourteen building simple websites and discovered I loved creating things with technology. My teaching philosophy centers on making coding accessible to everyone—I've helped students from complete beginners to those preparing for tech internships, and I adapt my approach to match each person's learning pace and style. I'm particularly proud when students who thought programming was "not for them" successfully complete their first projects and realize they can build anything with practice.
