About Mackenzie
I tutored students informally all through high school, and have decided to share my skills in a more professional environment, given that I am in my third year of university now. In high school, I sat at a 97% average pretty consistently, and my university GPA is similarly high. In fact, I am on an entrance scholarship at my university, because of one application paper I wrote. That one paper is paying for my entire degree. I want to introduce other students to the kind of freedom afforded by an interest in, and passion for English. I won't lie to you-- I was always a strong student academically, but I know that English can be a challenging topic for some people for a variety of reasons. I'd love to help you succeed in your classes, as well as find joy in the subject.

I'm happy to go over recent class assignments with students to help you gain clarity on your teachers' corrections, and increase future grades. I can also explain English concepts you struggle with, and teach you the tips and tricks I've picked up throughout my studies that have helped me maintain a 3.95 GPA while writing 10-15 page papers on the regular. I can also read over papers and provide general feedback if that is more up your alley.
