About Kristin
Hello! I’m Dr. Kristin Odell, an educator with a Doctorate in Education specializing in Curriculum and Instruction, and a Master’s in Education with an emphasis on Teaching and Learning. With a background as both an elementary school teacher and a university English professor, I bring a deep understanding of literacy development and effective teaching strategies. Currently, I’m dedicated to working with K-6 students, where I focus on building strong reading and writing skills through engaging, personalized instruction. My approach centers on creating a supportive, interactive learning environment that fosters confidence, curiosity, and a love for learning. I’m passionate about helping young learners develop foundational skills that will set them up for long-term academic success.
