I am a English graduate from the University of Exeter, and I have worked in a secondary school helping students who speak English as an additional language. I have experience working with secondary age students across a variety of subjects and I am familiar with the current school curriculum and exam requirements.

I have an extensive collection of resources to assist learning for students of all ages and abilities. I recommend speaking with the student first to ascertain the goals of the tutoring sessions so that this can be appropriately tailored and a learning plan can be developed.
From this point I will focus tutoring on areas that require improvement such as essay writing, analysing poetry, creative writing, reading skills and more. I am familiar with most GCSE and A Level texts. If an exam board is studying a text I am not familiar with I will study this in advance so that I can best help the student.
My main goal is make learning English fun! With the right tools I can demystify the exam process and make accessing the grades you deserve a reality.
I recommend sessions that are an hour long and I am available to tutor students aged 11-18.
