About Moy
I am passionate about Maths and have studied a variety of Mathematics courses during my time at University. I hold a 2:1 MA (Hons) degree in Mathematics from the University of Glasgow, and am currently undertaking training to become a Maths teacher. I have taught Maths at S1-4 and tutored at Nat 5 and Higher. I believe in creating a positive learning environment that allows students to take risks and make mistakes, an inherent part of the learning process.

I have nearly six years of experience working with students, and I specialise in improving numeracy and problem solving skills. For those students who are new to this practice, I focus on establishing the basics: how to approach common maths questions and early exam skills. I also have experience introducing new topics to students, and am happy to walk through new skills as they come up in the curriculum, to help students feel more confident handling maths in class.
My sessions focus on improving existing skills and building confidence, as well as helping students to develop a more flexible learning style. Sessions will typically last for one hour, and I am most experienced with National Five Maths and Higher Maths, as well as National Five Applications of Maths.
