About Lorna
I have a degree in Geography, but studied maths at university level. I have tutored all levels of High School maths in Scotland and am willing to take on all ages. I have experience working with student with dyslexia. During my time as a tutor I have managed to increase grades from a fail to a B, help to get students into the university they wished and increased confidence in the subject.

I adapt my teaching style depending on the individual pupil, however I try to go for a relaxed and fun approach, while still achieving results. I think that it is important not just to learn how to do maths in a parrot fashion, but to truly understand the subject in order to progress. As I am 23, I am young enough to get on well with the pupils and can relate to the stresses of school, having been through it recently.
