My approach to teaching has everything to do with how my students learn. Topics in mathematics and the physical sciences often deal with abstract concepts which can be difficult to grasp. I believe in catering the format of my lessons to suit individual learning styles and modes of perception (visual schematics, auditory instruction, written word, etc).
I have studied and researched education and pedagogy across many varied fields including physics, music, and outdoor education. I feel my experience makes me well equipped to help students address their own personal learning needs.
