About Mike

I've been teaching guitar and music theory since 2007.
I support Students, who find playing guitar challenging as well as those who require additional challenge and are willing to expand their knowledge and skills.
Many of my Students have become successful recording and touring Artists.
I work with adults, teenagers and children.
My Students value a professional, yet friendly and stress free atmosphere during the sessions.
I offer workshops covering all styles of music and levels of advancement.
I specialize in fingerpicking guitar (I'm the finalist of 2019 Warsaw Fingerstyle Festival) and a following genres: rockabilly, blues, country and 1950's rock'n'roll.

About the lesson

Are you trying to get this authentic, vintage guitar sound from the 1950's and late 1940's?

This lesson series has been designed to put you on the right track as soon as possible.
If you want to rock like Eddie Cochran, swing like Hank Garland and Grady Martin, thumbpick like Chet Atkins and Scotty Moore or moan the blues in the style of Lightning Hopkins or Mississippi John Hurt - this is the workshop for you.

We will analyze and learn the essential licks as well as full songs from that era.
We will cover solos, songs intros&outros, rhythm patterns, unique techniques and chord shapes.

Level: beginner/intermediate/advanced

I've been taking lessons with Mike for a long time and it has been a truly enlightening experience for me, not only as a guitar player but as a musician in general. His knowledge of the instrument is astounding. My understanding of the guitar neck and my actual playing has improved drastically in the past few months! I highly recommend Mike as your teacher

Mike is absolute GENIUS when it comes to guitar! He completely changed my life - I was struggling to understand the basics and he made it so easy and “digestible”. I’m forever thankful for taking me on that journey. But the real MAGIC started when I asked Mike about fingerstyle - Mike’s knowledge is truly unbelievable, but on top of it he knows how to make it accessible for you!! Worth every penny!!! Make sure you book your lesson with Mike and you will be playing guitar in no time - guaranteed!

I've been learning to play under Mike's watchful eye for more than four years. He's a great teacher and all-around great guy. He has this unique ability to look at both theory and technique through his students' eyes, taking into account their particular level of skill and advancement. I can't count all the times that this has helped me get past something that seemed like an impossible challenge at the time. It doesn't matter if you just want to learn your first chords or finally nail the finer points of Doc Watson's two-finger technique, I'm sure Mike's the guy to see about it;)
