About Isaiaha
I am a University of Oregon graduate and was a 4-time letter-winning student athlete during my time there. Furthermore, during my time at the University of Oregon, I won B1G (Big Ten) Academic Honors. I was able to balance my education, sports, clubs, and work to graduate on time as a double major in linguistics and German in the summer of 2025.
Originally I am from Wisconsin and come from a family of public servants and teachers. I will be beginning my master's in education shortly at the University of Oregon as well.

My education was rooted in linguistics, with the ability to take a scientific approach as to why we speak and write the way we do. I currently work as a part of the Salem-Keizer School District and focus on ELA from 6th grade up to college level. I find that it is important when teaching that the teacher allow the student to almost teach themselves. This is seen in my educational philosophy, where students should be doing about 70% of the talking about the material. As a teacher it is important to guide and help, and that comes across in my teaching.
