About Christian
ABOUT ME
As an engineering student, I use math constantly rather than treating it as something that only exists in a textbook. I've also worked on undergraduate research involving computing and engineering, which has reinforced how important strong fundamentals and problem-solving skills are when moving into more advanced subjects.
I also understand what it feels like to encounter a topic that doesn't immediately make sense. Because of that, I try to explain concepts in straightforward language, break complicated problems into smaller pieces, and make sure students understand why a method works instead of simply memorizing steps.
My teaching style is patient, conversational, and personalized. Questions are always welcome, and I'm happy to explain something multiple ways until we find the approach that works for you.
I'm available for online lessons and can work around school, homework, quiz, and exam schedules.

ABOUT THE LESSONS
Math becomes much easier when the fundamentals actually make sense.
My goal is not simply to help students finish one homework assignment or memorize a formula for an exam. I focus on identifying where the confusion begins, rebuilding that foundation, and then working step-by-step until the student understands how to approach problems independently.
Lessons can be tailored around:
• Homework and assignment help
• Quiz, test, and exam preparation
• Reviewing difficult concepts from class
• Strengthening foundational math skills
• Practicing problem-solving strategies
• Catching up after falling behind
• Getting ahead before a new unit or semester
I adapt each session to the student's current level and learning style. If something is not clicking, we can slow down, approach it from another direction, and work through examples until it does.
I can help with arithmetic and foundational mathematics through algebra, geometry, precalculus, calculus, and other engineering topics like digital and linear circuits.
I primarily work with elementary, middle school, and high school students, along with select introductory college-level topics.
Whether the goal is preparing for an upcoming exam, getting through difficult homework, improving a grade, or simply becoming more confident in math, we'll build the understanding needed not only for the next assignment, but for the material that comes after it.
