About Chris
I am a university professor with training in music theory, sight singing and ear training with decades of practical experience singing in a corporate worship environment. I am studied musician who loves to sing, but I am not a natural vocalist. It's actually this combination that I believe gives me an advantage teaching and helping others use the techniques of solfege and shape notes to sing confidently!

Sure you can learn to sight sing sheet music if you have enough music theory and perfect pitch. BUT there's a much easier and practical solution - solfege and shape notes. Together we will explore these techniques while I demystify them for even the complete beginner. You can sight read music and you can sing harmonies! This course is especially useful for singing in religious/worship/choir environments with provided sheet music. I will take the time to understand where you are and design each lesson uniquely to help you progress.
