About Adam
My name is Adam and I'm currently entering my second year as a computer science student at the University of Sheffield having achieved a First Class grade in my first year.
I studied computer science at GCSE and A-Level myself so I know the content very well having achieved highly in several areas:
A-Level:
Computer Science - A
Mathematics - A
Further Maths - B
GCSE:
Computer Science - 8
Mathematics - 8
Combined Science - 9/9
Also I personally ran GCSE revision sessions for other students and am now supporting a current A-Level computer science student with his coursework where he is creating a neural network app similar to my own A-Level project.

I can tutor students in secondary school or sixth form on both GCSE and A-Level computer science and lessons can be anywhere from 30 to 90 minutes long, in person or over a Zoom call, it's all about what works best for you.
To identify any gaps in knowledge, it is important that the student completes at least one past exam paper from the exam board they are being assessed by for me to look over. After that I can create lesson plans for any topics they may have struggled with and use a variety of methods and aids such as diagrams, programming tasks, and short answer questions to find what you engage with best.
