About Mariana
I am a second year student of Languages, Literatures and Cultures at the Faculdade de Letras of the University of Lisbon with minors in Portuguese-English translation, editing and English linguistics. I tutor English to students of the 2nd and 3rd level of education on a distance basis (online).

I have over 10 years of experience speaking and interpreting English. I hold level C2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) and I am currently taking a specialization in English for the Media. Furthermore, my native language is Portuguese, but my tutoring classes would always be given in English except for any specific doubts / difficulties the student may have. The work environment is relaxed and practical. I believe that the student learns better with practical exercises than just with theory. I will be available whenever the student has a problem related to some activity, even if after business hours.
