About Agnes
I am Agnes, a first-year Law student at Durham University who has a passion for helping others achieve both academically and in their own lives to the best of their ability. Having spent a year in Sixth Form mentoring students aged 11-16 in different schools throughout my hometown, I discovered my love for teaching and supporting those around me. I will make sure that my lessons are tailored to your interests and needs, as you, the student, are always my top priority. Your learning will not end at the end of the lesson, and should you ever have any questions or require extra help, I am easily reachable. Furthermore, my 2 years of experience as a tennis coach for children and adults with physical and learning disabilities means I am not only comfortable but competent at tutoring and supporting people of all backgrounds and abilities. Having been tutored a language online myself, I understand it can be daunting, but I assure you I am here to make the experience as rewarding and enjoyable for you as I possibly can.

I provide an interactive online class with flexible hours, typically 1 hour long, though I am able to decrease or increase this duration. My tutoring focuses on the development of the student's own ability and the cultivation of both their knowledge and their confidence in their subject area. I have previously achieved an A* in English literature at A-level and completed a 20-hour in-person TEFL course. Now I am a Law student, looking to help others reach their potential in these subjects. My lessons in literature would be open to any school level, including GCSE and A-Level, while my English language (TEFL-based) lessons are typically for beginners looking to kick start or improve their English language competency.
