About Caliana
I remember really struggling with math for the first time in my sophomore year, I just could not understand logarithms. It wasn't until my senior year that I was able to understand them and handle them with ease. I would love to be able to be that helpful person to decrease frustration and allow for faster understanding. I am also a swim instructor and have younger siblings so I love working with middle and high school aged kids.

I have always liked math and would love to be able to support other students. A typical lesson plan would include reviewing previous lessons, looking at your weekly math homework, and going problem by problem in order to build confidence. I have taken IB math classes and got a 4 on the test for my AP Calculus class in high school. I am able to help middle and high school students to feel confident and comfortable in their math classes.
