About Ryan
I am a student at University of Toronto, St. George Campus. Currently, I am studying Physical and Mathematical Sciences and aim to major in Physics or Mathematics in the future. I have familiarity and comfort with the Ontario High School Curriculum, and can effectively teach a variety of STEM based Grade 9-12 subjects in a private environment. I am an empathic and driven individual with a desire to see everyone, of all ability levels succeed.

My teaching method relies on understanding the student and their comfort with a subject. Typically, I will start with an assessment of their ability on a communication basis, this means no "ability testing," but rather an open conversation with the student to understand their background and comfort with course material. As a tutor, I will strive to identify gaps in student's knowledge, if applicable, and help to mend them and help them build strong foundations in active course material such that the student can reach their goals. I believe in an empathic and comfortable approach to teaching.
