About Tiyasha
I’m a very patient, bubbly, and friendly person who is also committed to being punctual and professional. I understand the importance of consistency in learning, so I make sure to be on time for every session. If, for any reason, I ever need to cancel a session, I always ensure to inform you well in advance and do my best to make up for the lost time. I’m more than happy to schedule extra sessions or even fit in two sessions on the same day if it works for you. My goal is to ensure that your learning progress remains uninterrupted and that you feel fully supported every step of the way. As a passionate student of math, I believe that with the right guidance, anyone can grasp even the most complex concepts. My approach focuses on creating those “Oh, I get it now!” moments by offering clear, approachable explanations and a personalized learning experience. I listen to your needs and tailor each lesson to help you improve and feel confident. I’m always available outside of lessons, whether for a quick check-in or extra help before a big exam, and I’m always just a message or call away. My goal is to provide academic support and a positive and supportive environment where you feel comfortable and encouraged every step of the way.

I am a very patient and approachable tutor who believes in building confidence through consistent support and personalized learning. Every Monday, I create a customized list of focus topics and areas that need attention based on our previous sessions and any feedback or questions students send me by Sunday midnight. I then prepare a tailored problem set to target those specific areas of improvement, ensuring we reinforce key concepts and make steady progress. During our lessons, I use my iPad to draw diagrams, annotate problems, and make visual notes that help make complex ideas easier to understand—these are shared with students for review. I strongly believe in the power of practice, so I always include many hands-on problems to solidify understanding. On Mondays, we either review the previous week’s material or move on to new topics, depending on the student’s comfort and progress. What sets me apart is my flexibility and commitment—my schedule is very accommodating, and I’m always available for calls, meetings, or emails, with no fixed hours. I always share my contact information and encourage students to reach out anytime they need help. My lessons are suited for high school and university-level students who are looking for personalized, encouraging, and results-driven support.
