About Laura
I have 7 years of programming teaching experience with K-12, high school, and college first-year students through online live one-on-one instruction on Zoom or Teams. My Bachelor of Science in Computer Science is from University of Wyoming. I started learning coding at seventeen and discovered I loved creating things with technology. I'm especially passionate about encouraging young women to explore programming because technology needs diverse voices. My teaching style is patient and supportive—I make sure students understand each concept fully before moving forward, and I remind them that making mistakes while coding is completely normal and part of the learning process.
