My private tutoring approach is centered on creating a supportive, personalized learning experience that matches each student's unique needs. I use a combination of hands-on activities, interactive lessons, and real-world examples to make learning engaging and fun. My teaching methodology emphasizes building a strong foundation in core subjects—reading, writing, and math—through a combination of visual, auditory, and kinesthetic techniques, ensuring that every child grasps the material in a way that suits their learning style.
I am proficient in both English and Afrikaans allowing me to provide lessons in both languages for students who may need additional support in either.
In a typical lesson, students can expect clear, step-by-step guidance in their subject area, combined with plenty of practice opportunities. I encourage active participation and make use of games, songs, and creative activities to reinforce learning.
My lessons are aimed at young learners, particularly those in early elementary grades R-3and I specialise in helping students who may need extra support, whether due to learning differences, language barriers, or simply needing a boost in confidence. Every lesson is designed to meet the individual needs and pace of the student, ensuring progress at a comfortable speed.
