About Nicholas
I understand the ups and downs of the academic journey. School isn't always a smooth ride—I've faced those tough moments, grappled with challenges, and faced countless, confidence-crushing failures. Over time, I've developed strategies to tackle such obstacles head-on, and my goal is to pass along these strategies to my students and make their educational journey smoother.
In my eight years of tutoring, I've worked with students at both secondary and post-secondary levels, and have worked hard on refining my teaching methods for maximum engagement with my students. My formal education in electrical engineering provides a solid foundation in mathematics, physics, and programming languages. Complementing this background is my strong analytical framework which helps me understand how and where my students are struggling, and what is the best course of action for getting them back on the right path. I also have experience leading university lectures and laboratory sessions which has helped me hone my communication and organizational skills.
