About Tianna
I am a second-year Elementary Education student attending the University of Alberta looking for students to tutor in math. I've been an honour student since Junior High, I am very involved in my school community, and I'm a bit of a theatre nerd! I've been helping elementary-aged kids with Math for a few years now, but I would love to work with junior high and high school students as well!

A typical class with me includes math puns, games, and anything that we find makes class fun and enjoyable! Growing up, I remember how my teachers made math class feel- boring and difficult. However, I don't think that math was the problem, I think that our attitude was! We can't learn something if we don't have fun with it, and that's what I'm looking to do. I want to help change my students' perspectives on mathematics, because I've learned that changing the attitude towards a subject is all the difference you need to make in order to make a lasting impact on a students' learning.
