About Alex
I am a recently retired public school teacher who taught at the elementary level for 33 years. While I taught fourth grade for many years, I have also taught first grade, second grade, fifth grade, Title I Remedial Reading and Math, Middle School Reading, and have even worked with kindergartners. I am a fully licensed Elementary (K-8) teacher.

I have developed a new, revolutionary method for teaching elementary math. Children who go through the program will learn how to manipulate expressions and equations; add, subtract, multiply, and divide fractions, mixed fractions, and decimals; use a modified algebra to solve for a variable; acquire a deep conceptual understanding of what they are doing; and develop deductive logical thinking skills. The target grade levels for this program are 4th through 8th grade.

Details
I would like to teach your child my entire math program from beginning to end. This will take several months, the exact amount of time to be determined by the students' ability levels and degrees of motivation. If I can put together a small group of 5-8 students, I can charge a low weekly rate for each child for the duration of the program.
