About Piers
Hello! I’m Piers, I’ve been working as a video editor for well over a decade. I studied film at London's College of Communication (part of the University of the Arts) but I knew I wanted to be an editor long before that, filming short stop motion films in my bedroom as a kid with little bluetac actors.
Since then however I’ve worked my way up in post production (and worked with people not made of bluetac, although the jury is still out on a few of them) and have had the fortune to work on short films that have been screened in festivals, documentaries/factual content working across Europe and the United States, commercials and branded content for digital platforms in collaboration with some of the UK's top creative agencies for some of the world's biggest brands, with credits including Google, Wagamama, Peloton, M&S, Nike and the FA.
Throughout my career I have loved not just learning more about editing but sharing my knowledge with people keen to learn more, having worked as a mentor to students on productions, working on student films and supporting developing creatives. So if you're looking to learn, let's have a chat!

Lesson techniques and methodology:
-Basic to advanced editing techniques and approaches
- Learn Adobe Premiere Pro like the back of your hand with techniques that cover command shortcuts, project management, best practice and understanding your content & output.
- Get into the headspace of an editor by looking at a project creatively as well as technically.
- Support on how to shoot for the edit as well as edit project management and templating.
