About Daphne
I am a violin tutor with 6 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music in String Performance. Teaching allows me to help students unlock their musical potential while building confidence through patient and encouraging instruction.
My lessons are flexible, supportive, and carefully planned around each learner's needs. I encourage students to enjoy the learning process while steadily improving their technique, musical expression, and performance skills.
Outside teaching, I enjoy chamber music, orchestral performances, and studying violin repertoire from different periods. These experiences help me bring depth, creativity, and inspiration into every lesson.

My violin lessons are built around steady progress, relaxed learning, and enjoyable musical experiences. Students learn posture, bow movement, left-hand technique, rhythm, intonation, tone quality, and listening skills through carefully planned exercises that make every lesson productive and encouraging. I believe confidence grows with consistent practice and supportive guidance.
As students advance, we explore shifting, vibrato, expressive dynamics, sight reading, scale practice, musical interpretation, and recital preparation. I also include mental practice techniques and confidence-building activities that help learners perform comfortably while developing independent practice habits.
My goal is to help students become expressive violinists who enjoy learning and performing with confidence. Every lesson develops technical ability, musical understanding, and appreciation for beautiful violin music.
