About Lexi
I have 5 years of experience teaching violin and hold a PhD in String Performance. During my teaching journey, I have worked with students who wanted to improve technique, rebuild confidence, and develop stronger musical skills. Helping learners achieve meaningful progress is something I value deeply.
My teaching style emphasizes patience, clear guidance, and individual growth. I understand that every student learns differently, so I adapt lessons to support personal goals and learning preferences. Creating a comfortable and encouraging atmosphere is an important part of my approach.
When I am not teaching, I enjoy chamber music, score study, and exploring different performance traditions. These experiences continue to inspire my teaching and musical development. I am passionate about helping students enjoy learning and discover greater confidence through violin playing.

My violin lessons focus on helping students develop strong fundamentals while enjoying the process of learning music. We work on posture, bow control, intonation, tone production, rhythm accuracy, and musical interpretation through patient and supportive instruction. Lessons are designed to build confidence alongside technical skill.
I use warm-up exercises, scale work, bowing studies, listening activities, and repertoire practice to create balanced lessons. Students receive personalized guidance based on their experience and goals. Whether returning after a long break or continuing their development, learners receive support that matches their needs.
I enjoy helping students overcome self-doubt and reconnect with their enjoyment of music. Through steady encouragement and practical exercises, learners gain greater confidence and consistency in their playing. My goal is to create a positive environment where progress feels achievable and rewarding.
