About Aja
"Do you ever wonder why your intonation feels inconsistent despite hours of practice? My MMus from the Royal Academy of Music provides the foundation for my coaching style.
I focus on rhythm and timing, ear training, tuning by ear, sight reading, vibrato, intonation, posture and hold, orchestral playing, and shifting positions. Having taught 488 students, I know how to fix common habits quickly. My 3 years of experience helps me spot technical issues before they become permanent problems. I maintain high energy to keep you motivated during the harder technical sections."

"Usually, the sound you want is right there if you just adjust your bow pressure slightly. I use my MMus background to simplify complex shifts and intonation challenges for my students. Parents receive a monthly progress report shared with them to track the growth of their child. My 3 years of professional performing experience ensures that my technical advice remains practical for real stage environments.
I keep the atmosphere supportive while maintaining a clear, results-driven focus. We handle the mechanics first so the music flows naturally later. You will find that my approach makes the difficult parts of the violin feel much more accessible. My teaching remains centred on clear communication and consistent improvement."
