About Melanie
I am a violin tutor with over 8 years of experience and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Violin Performance. I love working with young children, making learning engaging and age-appropriate. My lessons use playful strategies that spark curiosity and excitement. I incorporate storytelling, rhythm games, and movement to help children understand musical concepts. Simple melodies are used to teach technique, develop ear training, and nurture early musicianship. I draw on Suzuki and Kodály-inspired methods to create a strong foundation while keeping lessons fun. Each session is interactive, encouraging children to explore, experiment, and enjoy making music. I focus on building confidence, creativity, and a love for the violin. Lessons are structured yet flexible, allowing each child to progress at their own pace.
