About Eleanor
I completed a PhD in Violin Studies and have been teaching violin for 8 years. During my career, I have worked with students who have different musical goals, helping them strengthen both technical ability and artistic confidence. Seeing learners enjoy their own progress continues to inspire me.
My teaching style combines careful planning, supportive instruction, and flexibility. I believe every learner deserves lessons that encourage confidence while respecting their individual pace. Building strong foundations remains an important part of every class.
Outside teaching, I enjoy studying string chamber music, attending classical performances, and exploring new educational ideas. These experiences help me keep lessons fresh and meaningful. Helping students build lifelong confidence through music is one of my greatest passions.

My violin lessons are designed to help students become confident musicians through steady and enjoyable learning. We work on posture, bow balance, left-hand coordination, intonation, rhythm accuracy, tone development, shifting, vibrato, sight reading, musical interpretation, and performance preparation. Every lesson follows a clear structure that makes learning simple while encouraging long-term improvement.
I use scale routines, bowing exercises, listening practice, rhythm training, technical studies, and creative musical activities to strengthen every skill. Lessons are adjusted to suit each learner's level, allowing beginners and experienced players to progress comfortably. I provide thoughtful guidance and practical feedback that helps students improve with confidence and consistency.
I believe every student can enjoy learning the violin through patience and positive encouragement. My goal is to create lessons where technical growth and musical enjoyment develop together. Every class helps learners become more expressive, independent, and confident performers.
