About Grace
I earned a Master's in Violin Performance and have been teaching violin for 7 years. During my teaching journey, I have worked with students from different age groups and musical backgrounds, helping them build technical ability alongside artistic confidence. Watching students discover their own musical voice has been one of the most meaningful parts of my career.
My teaching approach combines patience, encouragement, and structured learning. I believe every student learns differently, so I adapt each lesson to suit individual strengths and goals. Building confidence through positive guidance remains at the heart of my teaching philosophy.
Outside teaching, I enjoy performing chamber music, studying violin repertoire, and exploring new practice techniques. These experiences allow me to keep my lessons fresh and engaging. Helping students grow into expressive and confident violinists continues to inspire me every day.

My violin lessons are designed to help students enjoy music while building reliable technique from the beginning. We work on posture, bow control, finger placement, intonation, rhythm, tone production, shifting, vibrato, sight reading, and expressive playing through simple and organised practice. Every concept is explained clearly so students understand both the purpose and the technique behind each exercise.
Each lesson is adjusted to match the learner's experience and goals. Beginners develop confidence through steady guidance, while experienced players refine musical expression and technical accuracy. I include listening activities, slow practice methods, performance preparation, and personalised exercises that encourage continuous improvement. Supportive feedback helps students build confidence without feeling pressured.
I believe learning the violin should be rewarding and inspiring. Every lesson encourages patience, creativity, and consistent growth while helping students become comfortable performers. My goal is to help every learner enjoy making music and continue developing strong skills with confidence and enthusiasm.
