About Carolyn
"Because I enjoy hearing the nuances of a well-played melody, I teach violin to help you understand the instrument. You will focus on intonation, orchestral playing, and music theory during our sessions.
I rely on my background of 9 years of professional performance and my degree from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music to explain concepts clearly. We also cover ear training, spiccato and staccato bowing, tuning by ear, and proper bowing technique. I have worked with 450 students to date, refining my methods to ensure you grasp the material efficiently."
