About Vivian
My passion for the violin began through an admiration for its expressive sound and emotional range. This interest led me to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Music before earning a PhD in Violin Interpretation and Performance. During my 12 years of teaching experience, I have guided students through many stages of musical learning.
I believe great teaching combines technical expertise with patience and encouragement. My teaching style focuses on helping students understand the purpose behind each technique while building confidence in their abilities. I enjoy adapting lessons to support individual goals and learning styles.
Outside teaching, I continue studying violin repertoire, attending performances, and exploring different musical traditions. These experiences help me bring depth and variety into every lesson. Helping students become skilled and expressive violinists remains one of the most rewarding parts of my profession.

My violin lessons are designed to help students build strong technical foundations while developing confidence in musical expression. We focus on posture, bow technique, rhythm control, intonation, tone production, and finger placement through structured exercises and carefully selected repertoire. Every lesson encourages steady progress and musical understanding.
As learners become more advanced, we work on vibrato, shifting, articulation, sight reading, interpretation, and performance preparation. Lessons are tailored to individual needs and goals, helping students strengthen their abilities in a supportive environment. Practical demonstrations and detailed feedback support continuous improvement.
I believe violin study should combine discipline, creativity, and enjoyment. My goal is to help students become expressive musicians who can perform with confidence and skill. Every lesson supports long-term musical growth and personal achievement.
