About Shalonda
Completing a Master of Music in Vocal Studies at Singapore Management University was my primary formal academic qualification. Most people assume that singing is purely an innate talent, yet I find it is a craft refined through consistent, deliberate practice. Over 13 years, I have guided countless students toward mastery of harmony singing, rhythm and phrasing, head and chest voice, vocal health and care, belting technique, microphone technique, and sight singing.

Purposeful practice defines our time together. We begin with a specific technical warm-up to prepare the vocal cords.
I construct a personalized song list built around each student's range to ensure vocal longevity. We address rhythm and phrasing through targeted exercises. We examine belting and microphone technique to build stage confidence. We track progress against clear goals set for the term.
Students often find that sight singing becomes second nature. The music simply flows.
