Megan is an amazing singer, snatching the role of Annie in her local community theatre at just 11 years old. When Megan was 12, we did a production of “Rough Night at the North Pole,” and one time I forgot my lines on stage, and Megan saved the show.

We worked together for years with special needs children through the state of IL, and I was always amazed at her ability to turn mundane tasks into educational activities centered around fun and whimsical entertainment. Washing the walls? No ma’am. We’re playing “Princess Cinderella Before the Ball.” Picking up toys? No sir, we’re playing “Collect All the Criminals Who Tried to Escape Our Clutches.” What do you mean, are we digging up carrots that we planted ourselves in our homegrown garden? Yes, but we’re actually “treasure hunting.”
