About Jacqueline
Pacing a lesson is a delicate balance, and I will admit that I often change the plan on the fly if I hear you hitting a wall. My BA in Music gave me the foundation to teach warm-up exercises that actually protect your voice while expanding your capability. Because I have spent 7 years gigging, I know exactly how to turn technical pitch control into a genuine performance.
We will focus on vibrato control and breathing to make your singing sound effortless. I do not believe in fluff; we work on what you need to improve right now. Do you have a specific song or a grade level you are currently focusing on?

Teaching singing is my way of connecting the internal mechanics of the body to the external art of performance. My vocal range extension work has helped teens and adults find parts of their voice they never knew existed. I have 7 years of experience helping hobbyists and grade exam candidates move past their stage fright. It is a strange thing to treat your own throat as an instrument.
I focus on breathing control and belting technique to ensure that you are never straining during a song. We look at rhythm and phrasing as essential tools for your development. You will learn to navigate the transition between head and chest voice with ease.
I bring a lot of energy into these sessions to keep us moving. Sometimes it just takes a simple shift in perspective.
