About Isabel
Having recently completed my A-levels (AAA), I would love to help more students to improve and feel confident in understanding their courses. I have been voluntarily mentoring students in biology, maths and psychology over the last two years and am keen to help others. I am passionate in my subjects, and having tried various learning methods myself, I am open to doing whatever I can to best support you in your preferred method of learning, whether you feel you require more or less support on a topic, I will do my best to help you recognise bits you miss out/where you go wrong and help you correct these.

I am happy to tailor our lesson styles to what suits you best, ideally you would let me know in advance some focus areas for each session, or you can ask me questions on the spot. At the beginning, I will explain them/give worked examples. At the end of the session I will test you and help you with any gaps you have identified. I like to, based on psychology principles, provide scaffolding, which is gradually decreased to help you learn. And as a younger tutor (18), I should be able to relate to you more, which would help you learn. There is never a 'too basic question' :)
