About Osob
I have always had a passion for learning, and this naturally extends to teaching and sharing the knowledge I have been grateful to receive. I believe education is a form of empowerment, and I get fulfilment helping my students build confidence in themselves and their abilities. I teach in a relatable and understanding way, as it wasn’t that long ago that I was sitting my own GCSEs and A-Levels. I understand the pressure and overwhelm that can with exams, so I aim to guide students in a way that makes learning enjoyable and manageable.

I take a personal, student-centred approach. I tailoring each lesson to the student’s goals and learning style. I believe the best way to learn is by making mistakes in a safe, supportive environment, so students can build confidence and reduce mistakes in their exams. I will assess areas of weakness and create a clear plan of action to tackle learning blocks head-on. I will create a bespoke plan for each student depending on their needs and goals, ensuring that every session is focused and productive. Typically, lessons begin with a brief recap of a topic to ensure understanding, followed by practising exam-style questions and learning from mistakes together. If a student needs more explanation on a topic, I take the time to break down complex concepts into clear, understandable steps. I do not lecture; instead, I guide, encourage questions, and create a space where students feel comfortable engaging and actively learning. Lessons are usually one hour long, with longer sessions available upon request. I am a Biomedical Science graduate from the University of Warwick with three years of tutoring experience, currently offering Biology tutoring for GCSE and A-Level students across all exam boards.

Her lessons were amazing! It felt like proper help rather than someone talking at me. She adapted to what I needed each week, especially during exam season when I was stressing. I learned more in our lessons than in class.
