About Shaan
I am a second-year LLB Law student at the University of Warwick, predicted a First Class degree. I achieved 10 Grade 9s at GCSE and ranked 1st in my A-Level English Language cohort with a 95% score. The academic record is there. More importantly, so is the method behind it.
For the past three years I have worked as a qualified Swimming Instructor, teaching 30+ children weekly across all ages and ability levels. That experience taught me something no degree can: every student needs a different explanation, and your job as a teacher is to find it. That is exactly how I approach English.
I bring the same precision I apply to legal analysis into every session. Mark schemes are documents with a logic to them. Essays are arguments with a structure. Once a student understands that, the grades follow.
I have seen first-hand what separates students who plateau at Grade 6 from those who break through to Grade 9. The gap is almost never intelligence. It is method, and that is exactly what I provide.
