My Methodology & What Sets Me Apart: Unlike standard tutors who simply check homework, I teach with an "Engineering Mindset." We don't just solve the problem; we break it down to its first principles so you understand why the solution works. My goal is to mentor students not only on the subject matter but also on the study habits and time-management systems required to survive competitive programs like Waterloo Engineering. A Typical Lesson Plan: Concept Review (10 mins): We clarify any confusion from class notes to ensure the theoretical foundation is solid. Guided Practice (25 mins): We work through problems together using a "scaffolding" technique—gradually removing support until the student is solving independently. The "University Challenge" (20 mins): I introduce exam-style questions that are slightly harder than the textbook to ensure the student is over-prepared for their actual tests.
