I have great communication skills, am friendly, well mannered and determined to make an impression to students. Equally able to teach independently and as part of an ensemble.
Experienced in approved SQA NAT4/NAT5/Higher/Advanced Higher Drum-kit/Percussion syllabus and pieces: Dave Hassel, Trinity Guildhall, Keith Bartlett, Rock School and many more!
Can play and transcribe drum music to a high technical standard. Examples available on request! Ever wanted to learn a drum part note for note? I can provide the exact notation for you!

Having attained an honours degree in Music from The University of The West Of Scotland, and having worked as a Private and Ensemble Drum-Kit Tutor for more than 5 years with over 70 students and having amassed more than 15 years of musical experience as a performing artist as a session musician, I continue to seek students keen to avail themselves of professional and drumkit tuition and musical skills development.
