I love working with those that need help with reading and literacy. I have published two children's books and am currently writing others. Reading and literacy is very important to every other subject in school and will be the most important subject throughout a person's life.

My techniques include helping my students understand the importance of each word in a sentence that leads to a paragraph and understanding. My typical lesson plans help me to garner an understanding of where my students are in the learning process and where they may need help. What sets me apart from other tutors is I'm patient and understanding. I can teach reading and literacy at any level, I hold a Master's degree in education with an emphasis in reading and literacy graduated with a 3.8 gpa.
