About Daisy

As an English tutor with 3 years of experience, I specialise in helping students master advanced academic writing. I hold a BA in English with a concentration in Digital Media and Communication. My focus is on guiding undergraduates, master’s students, and PhD candidates through research-driven projects. Writing a thesis or dissertation is challenging, but I make the process clear and systematic. I teach students how to build strong arguments supported by credible evidence. Proper source citation is a major emphasis, as academic integrity is essential. I use real papers and examples to demonstrate successful strategies. My feedback highlights strengths while addressing areas for improvement. Guided exercises help students practise synthesising information from multiple sources. Over time, they learn to refine their academic voice and produce polished, professional writing. I believe clarity is just as important as creativity in scholarly work. With the right structure and discipline, great writing becomes achievable. Join me to sharpen your skills and achieve excellence in academic English.

English

I believe English is most powerful when it is clear, professional, and persuasive. My teaching method combines grammar and fluency with practical communication skills. Students practise public speaking, persuasive writing, and formal presentations in every stage of learning. I design lessons to match real-world situations, from classrooms to workplaces. Each activity focuses on clarity, confidence, and audience engagement. I help students learn how to hold attention and communicate with impact. Immigrant and newcomer learners receive patient, step-by-step guidance to succeed in English environments. Heritage learners strengthen existing skills and polish them for formal settings. Lessons are active, using real speeches, presentations, and persuasive texts as models. Feedback is constructive, encouraging improvement without pressure. I emphasise building confidence alongside skill. Over time, learners grow into strong communicators. My approach ensures students leave with the tools to succeed wherever English is required.
