About Nat
I've been working as a full stack software engineer since 2014 and am passionate about writing good readable code, building accessible products, documentation and working to grow the engineers and culture around me.
Since I started working as a Staff Engineer for Amazon, after their acquisition of One Medical, I am most interested in seeking out ways to make the world a better place by either contributing to a non-profit organization or a for-profit organization that aligns with my values.
I'm a full stack developer spanning from terraform and CLIs at the very back end to React Native at the very front end. Over the course of my career, I've worked in most of the common JS frameworks and developed a love of Typescript. For the backend, I've worked in Rails, Python and Java. That said, I'm always looking for new languages and frameworks to explore.
In between feature development, I often work towards engineering excellence, leveling up the engineers around me and setting organization goals for code improvements. I find myself frequently presenting to the engineering organization as a whole or working with others to do the same.
