My knowledge comes from real-world experience as a writer for video scripts, email marketing, and creative publishing. I've written for tech companies, comedians, and even a 'shark' from Shark Tank. So the skills my students learn in my classes can help them succeed as real-world writers post-high school.

Hi, I'm Beth, and I'm a professional writer and writing tutor!
I teach writing to students in grades 6-8, and I build lessons based on the student's grade level, classes, and goals. Typically, we go through the requirements of the student's current assignments and I will help with the skills they need to write great essays, creative pieces, articles, and other types of writing.
When possible, I will share examples that are creative, inspiring, and fun, both from my own work and from other sources!
I also teach tips for improving the student's writing process and proofreading skills, so eventually my students are able to go through the process from start to finish on their own.
