I have experience in teaching college-level english, working in university writing centers, and facilitating online tutoring, and have tutored writing for undergraduate students, thesis and dissertation students, remedial undergraduate writing students, homeschool, and private school students. My approach to teaching is all about helping students to become effective communicators. I teach communication through activities, interactions, and assignments designed to help students to understand and internalize specific criteria for effective writing based on the rhetorical goals for each writing task that they approach.
