About Tvisha
I was first introduced to teaching in Primary 6, when I was selected to support younger students in reading and writing through a peer tutoring program. I worked closely with a Primary 1 student who was struggling with literacy, and adapted my teaching approach to suit her learning style—through shared reading, visual storytelling, and simple explanation techniques. By the end of the program, she was reading and writing confidently, and that experience sparked a deep passion in me for teaching with patience, empathy, and creativity.

I am currently tutoring a Secondary 1 student in Literature, where I help him understand both the technical and emotional dimensions of texts and Literature as a subject. My teaching style centres on clarity, relevance, and confidence-building. I break down techniques in a way that’s accessible and engaging, and I always aim to help students understand not just what a writer is doing, but why it matters. I use structured analysis to strengthen essay writing, and inference skills.
