About Kalkedan
Hello! My name is Kalkedan, and I’m a 14-year-old ESL tutor with a strong passion for teaching English to younger students and teens. Even though I’m young, I take my role very seriously. I am kind, patient, respectful, and always do my best to help my students feel confident and supported. 14-year-old ESL tutor, I offer a relatable perspective to teaching English, especially for younger students and teens. I understand how to explain things in a clear, friendly, and easy-to-understand way. I make sure my lessons are fun, interactive, and never boring! I use a mix of simple explanations, real-life examples, games, and things like pictures and flashcards to help students remember vocabulary and grammar rules. Warm-up (5 minutes) – A short game or conversation to get started and review past material. New Vocabulary or Grammar (10–15 minutes) – Introduced through fun examples and practice exercises. Practice Time (15–20 minutes) – Speaking, reading, or writing activities based on the topic. Review & Wrap-Up (5 minutes) – Go over what we learned and answer any final questions. I’m patient, creative, and always try to make lessons enjoyable. I make sure my students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and improving at their own pace. Since I’m still in school myself, I know how to make lessons engaging for kids and teens. My lessons are for kids and teens (ages 6–14) learning English as a second language, beginners and lower-intermediate learners, students who want help with homework, pronunciation, speaking skills, or vocabulary.
