About Sian
I work in Finance - I am doing a Level 4 Apprenticeship in Accounting. I have a hands-on experience with maths and formulas everyday in a work environment. I studied Mathematics up to finishing my A levels where I achieved a Grade A.
When I was in school I would regularly help in secondary school maths lessons. I also used to run my own maths club where I helped students understand difficult concepts which they may find tricky, so I have a lot of experience. I gave this support and aid in lessons, and during my free time, for 2 school years which has allowed every pupil I've worked with to have a better understanding of mathematical concepts! I have proven experience of dealing with younger people than me - I used to work as a sports coach between the ages of 13 and 18 until I started my journey in the world of finance.

During a basic session I would go through a topic with the pupil, and then I'd practice some exam questions with them. This should lead to effective learning, and it should keep every session as interesting as possible for the pupil I am working with!
