About Jack
I am an aspiring scientist hoping to eventually pursue a master degree in artificial intelligence.
I wasn't particularly fond of my school days as a whole but I always remember the classes I took for applied maths on Saturdays, I had to wake up even earlier than I would on a school day for these classes and commute for about 2 hours and yet I enjoyed those classes more than normal school. The singular reason was my teacher who was down to Earth and genuinely wanted to help us do our best. I hope that with experience I could become that person for students

As a student, I have always found that the best way to study mathematical concepts is to ground it in tangible examples when possible. I am also a firm believer in students having at least a small amount of prereading to do before starting a topic formally in class.
The absolute most important thing is asking questions and keeping students engaged with the topic. I expect a typical class length to be half an hour to an hour
I studied higher level Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, and Physics for my leaving cert and now I study Physics with Data Science in Dublin.
