About Avni
I believe tutoring should build real understanding, not just memorisation — pairing that with the exam confidence that comes from genuinely knowing your material inside out. I'm approachable and dedicated, and I pay close attention to each student's individual needs, adapting how I teach to the way they learn best rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach. For every student, I set out a long-term plan with clear goals working toward their target grade, and I keep parents in the loop on exactly what their child is covering each session, so everyone can see how progress is going.

I focus on exam technique, not just content — using past papers and mark schemes to target exactly where a student is losing marks and building their confidence going into the exam itself. Sessions usually run 45–60 minutes, with a quick recap at the end to lock in what we covered. I'm in Year 13 at Watford Grammar School for Girls, studying Physics, Maths and Economics, and I achieved 9s in Chemistry, Physics and English Language (plus 8s in Biology and English Literature) at GCSE, so I've been through these exact exams recently and know what examiners are actually looking for. I tutor 11+ candidates (verbal reasoning, non-verbal reasoning, maths and English) and GCSE students in Maths, Combined/Triple Science, and English Language & Literature, all online.
